A sworn French to Turkish translation is made by a translator who has taken an oath before a Turkish notary. That oath is what lets a notary certify the translation, and it is why Turkish offices, courts and consulates accept it where an ordinary translation is not enough.

Names and script
French civil records carry accents that Turkish systems often drop, so Benoit and Benoît, or Muller and Müller, can end up looking like two people across a file. We reproduce the accented form and match the passport transliteration, and we keep the order of compound given names as the acte shows them.
Before you send it
French civil status extracts are usually required to be recent, and the receiving office in Turkey may set its own limit on how old an extrait can be. Check that before ordering a translation, because a certificate that is refused for age has to be reissued and retranslated.

Is an extrait enough, or do you need the full acte?
Most Turkish offices accept a recent extrait avec filiation, which shows parentage. Tell us which office will receive it and we will confirm before you order the document.
Do you translate Belgian and Swiss documents as well as French ones?
Yes. French-language documents from Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Canada and francophone African states are all handled the same way here; only the authentication route in the issuing country differs.
Do you also translate from Turkish into French?
