Why choose us

  • Sworn English-Turkish translators

Translations by translators sworn before a Turkish notary, so they can be notarized and accepted by Turkish authorities.

  • Notary and apostille handled

We arrange notarization and, for documents used abroad, an apostille under the Hague Convention.

  • Nothing lost in translation

Names, dates, seals and legal or technical terms carried faithfully between English and Turkish.

How it works

  1. 1

    Send your document

Share a clear scan or photo by WhatsApp or email and tell us the direction and how the translation will be used.

  2. 2

    Sworn translation

A sworn translator translates the document, preserving names, dates, seals and terminology exactly.

  3. 3

    Notarization

Where the receiving authority requires it, a Turkish notary certifies the sworn translation.

  4. 4

    Apostille and delivery

For use abroad we arrange an apostille under the Hague Convention, then deliver digital and, if needed, hard copies.

What we'll need from you

  • A clear, complete scan or photo of every page (no cropped edges).
  • The exact spelling of names as they appear in a passport or ID.
  • The country/authority the translation is for, and whether notary or apostille is needed.

What affects the cost

Document type and length
Priced per page or per word depending on the document.
Direction and language
Common documents cost less than rare or highly technical ones.
Certification level
Translation only, notarized, or notarized plus apostille.
Turnaround
Standard delivery, or urgent/same-day where the workload allows.

Every document is priced individually - contact us for a tailored quote.

A sworn English to Turkish translation is made by a translator who has taken an oath before a Turkish notary. That oath is what lets a notary certify the translation, and it is why Turkish offices, courts and consulates accept it where an ordinary translation is not enough.

Documents we most often translate from English

  • birth, marriage and death certificates
  • police certificates (ACRO or DBS in the UK, state or FBI checks in the US)
  • degree certificates and academic transcripts
  • bank statements and employment letters for residence applications
  • company documents, contracts and powers of attorney

Names and script

English-language documents are already in the Latin alphabet, so the risk is not transliteration but consistency. Middle names, hyphenated surnames and suffixes such as Jr appear on some documents and not others, and Turkish records carry a single given name and surname. We follow the passport spelling exactly and flag any document that disagrees with it before the notary sees the file.

Before you send it

Apostilles are issued by different offices in different English-speaking countries: in the United Kingdom by the FCDO, in the United States by the Secretary of State of the issuing state, and in Ireland, Canada and Australia by their own designated authorities. Arrange that in the issuing country first, because it cannot be added afterwards from Turkey.

What happens next

Send the document with the office it is going to and your deadline, and we will confirm what it needs and quote a fixed price. Where the receiving office requires it we arrange notarization, and for use abroad an apostille. We work in both directions, English to Turkish and Turkish to English. If you are not sure which level of certification applies, see sworn vs certified vs notarized translation.

Frequently asked questions

Which English-language police certificate do Turkish offices accept?

It depends on the receiving office rather than on the certificate. UK applicants usually present an ACRO police certificate and US applicants a state or FBI check. Whichever you have, it needs sworn translation and, in most cases, notarization.

My documents come from different countries. Does that matter?

Only for the authentication step. Each document follows the rules of the country that issued it, so a UK certificate and a US certificate in the same file may need different apostille routes. The translation and notarization here are the same.

Do you also translate from Turkish into English?

Yes. We work in both directions - English to Turkish and Turkish to English.
