How Sworn Translation Is Priced in Turkey

What determines the price

• Length of the text

  Translation is priced by the amount of text, so a one-page certificate and a forty-page contract are priced very differently. Tables, stamps and handwritten notes count too.

• Language pair

  Common pairs such as English, Arabic or German with Turkish cost less than rarer ones, for which fewer sworn translators are registered.

• Type of document

  Legal, medical and technical documents take more time to research and check than standard civil status certificates.

• Certification level

  Sworn translation alone, notarized translation, or notarized translation with apostille: each step adds work and, for the notary, an official fee.

• Deadline

  Urgent and same-day work is possible where the workload allows, and can cost more than standard delivery.

• Number of copies

  Each additional notarized copy carries its own notary fee.

Which parts of the price are official fees

Notary fees are not set by us. They follow the Notary Fee Tariff published each year by the Ministry of Justice, depend on the number of pages, and include taxes and duties. The apostille is issued by the authorities. Where these apply, the quote shows them next to our translation fee.

How to get an exact quote with one message

• A clear photo or scan of every page, including the back if it carries stamps
• The language you need the translation in
• Where it will be used: which country and which office
• Whether you need notarization or an apostille, if you know
• Your deadline and the number of copies

Why we do not publish a price list

A fixed list would be wrong for most documents, because it cannot see the length, the language or the certification your office asks for. A quote based on your actual document is exact, free and usually arrives the same business day.
