A sworn Portuguese to Turkish translation is made by a translator who has taken an oath before a Turkish notary. That oath is what lets a notary certify the translation, and it is why Turkish offices, courts and consulates accept it where an ordinary translation is not enough.

Names and script
Portuguese-speaking countries also use compound surnames, often carrying both parents' family names, and Brazilian certidoes are issued by cartorios rather than a central registry, so two documents for the same person can be worded differently. We reproduce the surnames in the order the registry gives them and align the passport form.
Before you send it
Portugal and Brazil authenticate their own documents, and Brazilian certidoes are usually required to be recent, so an old certidao may be refused on age rather than content. Order a current copy before commissioning the translation.

Are Brazilian and Portuguese documents handled the same way?
The translation is the same. The documents differ in wording and issuing body, and the authentication step belongs to the country that issued them.
How recent does a certidao need to be?
That is set by the office receiving it in Turkey rather than by us. Ask them before ordering, because a certificate refused for age has to be reissued and retranslated.
Do you also translate from Turkish into Portugese?
