A sworn Urdu to Turkish translation is made by a translator who has taken an oath before a Turkish notary. That oath is what lets a notary certify the translation, and it is why Turkish offices, courts and consulates accept it where an ordinary translation is not enough.

Names and script
Urdu is written in the Nastaliq form of the Perso-Arabic script, and Latin spellings of the same name differ widely across documents, so the passport form is the reference. Pakistani records also list a father's name where Turkish forms expect a surname, which is a frequent source of confusion at the counter, and we label it clearly rather than merging it into the surname.
Before you send it
Pakistani documents are usually attested by the relevant Pakistani authorities before they leave the country, and academic certificates commonly need attestation by the higher education body first. The authentication route for Pakistan has changed in recent years, so confirm the current requirement with the receiving office before you begin.

Frequently asked questions
Does my degree need attestation before translation?
Pakistani academic documents normally need attestation by the relevant authorities in Pakistan first. Confirm the current route before ordering the translation, because attestation cannot be added later from Turkey.
Is a nikah nama accepted as a marriage certificate?
Yes, once it is translated and notarized. It is the marriage record Pakistani authorities issue, and Turkish offices read it as such.
Do you also translate from Turkish into Urdu?
