A sworn Persian to Turkish translation is made by a translator who has taken an oath before a Turkish notary. That oath is what lets a notary certify the translation, and it is why Turkish offices, courts and consulates accept it where an ordinary translation is not enough.

Names and script
Persian is written in a Perso-Arabic script whose Latin transliteration is not standardised, so the same name may appear as Hosein, Hossein or Husayn across a set of documents. We use the spelling in the passport and reproduce the Persian original alongside it. The shenasnameh also records family details that Turkish civil forms expect to see, so it is often the key document in a family application.
Before you send it
Iran is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so Iranian documents are not apostilled. They are legalised through the Iranian authorities and the Turkish mission instead. That step happens before translation here, and it cannot be skipped or replaced by a notarization in Turkey.

Can an Iranian document be apostilled?
No. Iran is outside the Hague Apostille Convention, so Iranian documents follow the consular legalisation route through the relevant ministry and the Turkish mission instead.
Which page of the shenasnameh do you translate?
Normally all pages that carry entries, because Turkish offices read the marriage, children and amendment pages as well as the first. Send images of every page that has writing on it.
Do you also translate from Turkish into Persian?
Yes. We work in both directions - Persian to Turkish and Turkish to Persian.
