A sworn Spanish to Turkish translation is made by a translator who has taken an oath before a Turkish notary. That oath is what lets a notary certify the translation, and it is why Turkish offices, courts and consulates accept it where an ordinary translation is not enough.

Names and script
Spanish-speaking countries give a person two surnames, the father's followed by the mother's, and Turkish records expect one. Dropping the second surname on one document and keeping it on another is what makes a file look inconsistent. We carry both exactly as the civil registry shows them and align the passport form, so the notary sees one person rather than two.
Before you send it
The issuing country authenticates the document before it reaches us, and the office that does so differs between Spain and each Latin American state. Civil registry certificates are also often required to be recent, so check the receiving office's limit before ordering one.

Frequently asked questions
Should I keep both of my surnames in the Turkish translation?
Yes. We reproduce both surnames as the registry issued them and match the passport form, because a missing second surname is a common reason a Turkish office questions a file.
Do you handle Latin American documents as well as Spanish ones?
Yes. Documents from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru and elsewhere are translated the same way; only the authentication route in the issuing country differs.
Do you also translate from Turkish into Spanish?
